The men and women of York County who served their nation during wartime never considered themselvesd heroes. However, that does not mean their service and sacrifice was not heroic. The York County Heritage Trust's exhibit, Front Porch to Front Lines: York County Goes to War, takes you inside the lives of those who answered the call, at home and abroad, bearing witness to their courage and camaraderie. It will change you as surely as war changed those who experienced it.
Currently on exhibit at the Historical Society Museum to the general public
- Throughout the duration of the exhibit, the Trust invites visitors, volunteers, staff and the community to join them in supporting the contributions and sacrifices of our nation's military men and women by participating in Red Shirt Fridays. Simply wear a red shirt on Fridays to show your support!
